She was predeceased by: her parents, Teddy R. Martin and Bertha E. Martin; and her brother Vester Martin. She is survived by: her husband Oscar Hendrix; her children, Tim and Phyllis; and her brother Ted Martin. She is also survived by four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life was held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the First Missionary Baptist Church (1100 Occidental Dr, Redlands, CA 92374).
