He is survived by : his daughter Malia Mondragon (Julian); his grandsons, Julian, Isaac and Milo Mondragon; his siblings, Benny Gonzales (Annette), Jesse Gonzales, Carlos Gonzalez (Rita), Rebecca Jacinto (Larry), Evelyn Garcia (Luis), Carol Gutierrez, Maria Benitez (Luis), Rosa Ray (Jeff) and Frances Rojas (Oscar); and his girlfriend Lola Moreno. He is also survived by 45 nieces and nephews.

Viewing was held on Thursday, May 2nd 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Starbuck Lind Mortuary (123 N A St, Lompoc, CA 93436). A rosary was held on Thursday, May 2nd 2024 at 6:30 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Friday, May 3rd 2024 at 10:00 AM at the La Purisima Church (213 W Olive Ave, Lompoc, CA 93436). A procession was held on Friday, May 3rd 2024 at the Lompoc Cemetery.
