He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacob (Polly Yingst) and Arlis. He is survived by: his wife Glenna Norris; his children, Michael Yingst (Carol) and Kathleen Yingst; his grandchildren, Amy Parreira (Manuel) and Kevin Yingst (Audrey); his great grandchildren, Joseph, Maryann and David Arlis; and his siblings, Nadine Little and Lennie Yingst (Sandy). He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in memory of Arlis to the Lompoc Methodist Church (925 North F Street, Lompoc, CA 93436) or Sleep in Heavenly Peace (1032 N Lupine, Lompoc, CA 93436). Sleep in Heavenly Peace is meaningful charity, which builds and delivers beds to children in need, was founded by Arlis and Glenna's beloved neighbors, Matt and Colleen, and Arlis took great pride in personally helping with its mission.
