It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jessie Sheldon of Lompoc, California, born in Highlands, North Carolina, who passed away on October 18, 2022, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Cobb Harbison and Elizabeth Catherine Rice Harbison; her husband Col. Stanley M. Sheldon; her sister Christina Newton; and her brother-in-law James H. Newton.
She is survived by: her sister Susannah Harbison (Ann) of Colorado; her niece Pauline Fletcher (Scott) of Ohio; and her nephew David Newton (Michelle) of Ohio. She is also survived by numerous cousins, extended family and many friends.
