He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesus Garcia and Juana Garcia; and his siblings, Mary, Leon, Barney, Gil, Jess, Rose and Mike.
He is survived by: his siblings, Helen, Jennie and Frank; his children, Richard, Patricia (Anthony), Suzann (Robert) and Pepper; his grandchildren, Kristen (Cordero), Thomas, Samantha (Ryan), Danielle, Jericha, Savannah, Noah (Annie) and Julia; and his great grandchildren, Kaden, Romeo, Benji, Sophia, Dominic and Tommy. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
