We bid farewell to Karen Kay Payne of Lompoc, California, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on December 23, 2025 at the age of 82. Karen touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her husband Richard Gordon Payne; and her granddaughters, Melissa Jones and Jodi Jones. She is survived by: her children, Diane Motter (Andrew), Tammy Jones (Matthew) and Steven Payne (Lisa); her grandchildren, Sonia Berkefelt (Bradley), Gilbert Havens, Rachel Jones, Timothy Motter (Abigail), Jack Motter, Paul Motter (Grace) and Robert Payne; her great grandchildren, Shiloh Jones, Meadow Sessions, Aria Motter, Iris Motter and Andrew Motter; and her sister Betty Atkins. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
