It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Wilder of Lompoc, California, who passed away on May 22, 2025, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the vast expanse of eternity, Mary shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Mary farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her husband Burt Wilder of Taft; and her parents, Sam Cockrell and Mattie Cockrell. She is survived by: her children, Sam (Sandi) and Marlene (Neal); her stepdaughter Cherry; and her brother Lewis. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM at the Lompoc Elks Lodge (905 E Ocean Ave, Lompoc, CA 93436).
