He was predeceased by: his parents, Sarah Biven and Harold Biven; his stepfather Alfred Hampton; his siblings, Faye Jones, Dick Biven and Ray Biven; his son Alan Alfred Biven; his stepdaughter Shirley Contreras; and his grandchildren, Sonia Perez and Ronnie Reagan Lawrence.
He is survived by: his wife Marilyn; his children, Jenny Kuster and Mikie Biven; his siblings, Charlotte Holloway (David), Sheila Gable and Gary Biven (Debbie); his sister-in-law Vivian Phillips (John); and his caregivers, Susan, John Crowe and Sylvia Hernandez. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren; nephews, nieces and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 1st 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Starbuck-Lind Mortuary (123 N A St, Lompoc, CA 93436). A rosary will be held on Tuesday, December 1st 2026 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A Mass will be held on Wednesday, December 2nd 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Queen of Angels Catholic Church (3495 Rucker Rd, Lompoc, CA 93436). A burial will be held on Wednesday, December 2nd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Lompoc Evergreen Cemetery.
