We are sad to announce that on August 26, 2024 we had to say goodbye to Jean M. Blewett (Long Beach, California), born in Emmett, Idaho. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
As Jean departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Jean may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Jean leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Karl Mann and Edith Mann; and her husband Col. Rex R. Blewett. She is survived by: her sons, Jay A. Blewett (late Cathy) and Richard L. Blewett (Dyan). She is also survived by three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Jean's calendar was filled with volunteer and social activities up until the pandemic, at which point age and increasing isolation gradually robbed her of her memories and her strength.
