He is survived by: his wife Beverly V. Gallagher; his children, Sean, Jennifer Briody (Sean) and Rose Gallagher (Patrick); and his grandchildren, Seamus, Brendan, Aidan, Ian, Cara, Maeve and Fiona.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Mary Mother of Mercy Catholic Parish - Notre Dame (1010 Moore Rd, Michigan City, IN 46360). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
