She was predeceased by: her parents, Eriberta Villacarlos Catalasan and Leonardo Manalo Catalasan Sr.; and her siblings, Rolando Catalasan (Benilda) and Marietta Catalasan Bengo (Florencio). She is survived by: her former spouse Francisco'Frank'Montero Motol; her cousin Redencion Catipon Flores; her granddaughter Cerys Kamaile; her close friends, Rowena Labrador Gosuico and Jeah Peralta; her daughter Faith Valerie Motol Gianan (Michael Gianan); her siblings, Divina Catalasan, Leonardo Catalasan Jr. and George Catalasan (Gina); and her nephews, Ralph Bernard Catalasan (Dei Olazo) and Raven Catalasan (Kaye Leonera).
Every year, Violeta would also donate a flower contribution to the Karakol of both the Santo Niño de Ternate Parish and Iglesia Ni Cristo in Ternate, Cavite, Philippines.
