Abigail C (Crilley) De Ruyter Obituary

Abigail C De Ruyter, 62, a beloved mother, business women, and mentor to many, passed away on August 24, 2025. Born on June 5th, 1963, in Long Beach, California, to the late Elizabeth and George Crilley. Abigail enjoyed USC football , traveling, celebrating her Irish heritage, and spending time with her family. Abigail’s gift for guidance and inspiration touched the lives of her children, friends, family, and countless others seeking direction.
Abigail graduated with a Masters from the University of Southern California in Public Administration. Her impact she left on others in her professional life is astonishing. She worked in Public Affairs for Coca-Cola, was a personnel analyst for Xerox, and had an amazing real estate career as a broker with Berkshire Hathaway Home Services, and most recently Home Smart Reality Group. Abigail is survived by her daughters Sarah, Rachel, Elizabeth, and one grandchild but most importantly her dogs: Tini, Nugget and Zeus.

A visitation and rosary service will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Forest Lawn (4471 Lincoln Avenue, Cypress, California 90630). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Spaghettini (3005 Old Ranch Parkway, Seal Beach, California 90740).
