With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Brian Kipling Ellwood of Los Angeles, California, born in Kansas City, Missouri, who passed away on March 30, 2021 at the age of 60. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Richard Ellwood and Barbara Ellwood; and his nephew Cole Van Wey. He is survived by : his brother Brock; his sister-in-law Maggie; his sister Ann; his niece Sarah; and his nephews, Cooper, Colin and Carter.

“Dear Brock, Ann and family members, I’m deeply saddened to learn of Kip’s death in March of this year. Kip was a dear friend and member of Brentwood Presbyterian Church here in Los Angeles. Kip was always a willing participant in any BPC mission project or, in fact, any needs at the church. I considered him a precious friend and have missed him greatly since he left the area. I grew up in Bellefontaine, OH, and we enjoyed sharing stories about life in Ohio. I miss his sweet smile, Jane Grant”
