He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Giuseppe and Giuseppa D'Amato; his wife Frances; his children, Joe D'Amato (Cathy), Andrew D'Amato and Josephine Gutierrez (John); and his siblings, Maria Saputo, Mimmo D'Amato (Helen) and Andy D'Amato (Ann). He was also cherished by his children, grandchildren, great grandchildren.
