He was predeceased by: his parents, Stavros Goutsos and Eleni Goutsos; and his daughter Eleni Goutsos. He is survived by: his wife Chrys Goutsos; his children, Maria Harrington (Emmett) and Stacey Halverstadt (Bob); his grandchildren, Steven, Chrystie, Melissa, Benjamin and Andrew; his great grandchildren, Sierra and Ezlo; and his brother Sophocles Goutsos.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Oswald Mortuary (18728 Parthenia St, Northridge, CA 91324). A prayer will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 at 6:30 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church (9501 Balboa Blvd, Northridge, CA 91325).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Gary's honor to the Dementia Society of America, St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church in Northridge, CA or Sts. Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church in Lancaster, CA.
