He was predeceased by: his parents, Lorene Wallace-Miles and David Sears; his stepmother Mattie Sears; his grandparents, Annie V and Welthis Wallace; his aunt Joy Faye Wallace-Washington; his uncles, Clarence, Welthis, Jr. and Johnnie; his sister Linda Kay Wallace; and his grandson Terrence Wallace, Jr..
He is survived by: his children, James "Jimmy" Wallace, Jr., Frank Benard Wallace, Terrence Wallace and Simone Small; and his siblings, Jo-Alice Wallace, MaryAnn Taylor, Aniece Bell and David Sears. He is also survived by four grandchildren.
