He is survived by: his brother Keith Short (Yolanda) of Westminster; his nibling Jordan LeVan; his sister Cheryl Goos (Dan) of Ames; and his nieces and nephews, Caitlin Preston (Andrew), Tanner Mansager (Morgan), Cassidy Trygstad (Caden) and Lily Goos. He is also survived by several great-nieces and great-nephews, extended family members, and many dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home (1209 Iowa Ave W, Marshalltown, IA 50158).
