With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joe Marvin Boucherie of Los Angeles, California, who passed away on March 20, 2026 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil A. Boucherie and Velva Lorene Boucherie (Staford); his brother Robert Carl "Bobby" Boucherie; and his grandparents, Marvin T., Dovie Stafford (Connelly), Joseph A. and Abbie Oliver Boucherie.
He is survived by: his wife Cynthia "Cindy" Frankenfield; his sister Sharon Miller; his cousins, Dorothy West of Versailles, KY and Ellen Wilder of Choctaw, OK; and his daughter Cecily Boucherie of Yukon, OK. He is also survived by two nephews; and two great-nieces.
In the later years of his career, he found great pleasure in providing entertainment at memory care facilities for dementia and Alzheimer's patients who often remembered the music of their youth, which gave them joy.
