He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Demesio Puerto and Maria Puerto. He was also cherished by 3 children, 7 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, 12 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, May 18th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Guerra & Gutierrez Mortuary - Montebello (5800 E Beverly Blvd, East Los Angeles, CA 90022). A vigil service was held on Sunday, May 18th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Monday, May 19th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the St. Benedict Catholic Church (1022 W Cleveland Ave, Montebello, CA 90640). A graveside service was held on Monday, May 19th 2025 at 10:45 AM at the Resurrection Catholic Cemetery (966 Potrero Grande Dr, Rosemead, CA 91770). A reception was held on Monday, May 19th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Quiet Cannon Banquet Hall (901 Via San Clemente, Montebello, CA 90640).
