“Although I had not seen Leon (“Sandy”) for many years I have happy memories of him from my younger days. Specifically, I remember how hard he studied when in medical school, since our families (who were cousins) lived next door to each other in an apartment building on the Upper West Side. Years later he and his wife Robin graciously hosted me in California when I was a contestant on Wheel of Fortune. I hope he passed peacefully. Livia Goldring Sklar”
