Lorena Valdez Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Lorena Valdez (Los Angeles, California), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 4, 2026 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Garcia and Bill Rodarte Sr.; her husband Ray; her daughter Anita; her great grandchild Imani; her grandson Joey; her great great grandchild Anakin; and her siblings, Sal, Lucy and Angie.

She is survived by: her children, Bill, Mollie, Angie, Lucy and Sal; her sisters, Mollie and Letty; and her daughters, Linda and Kathleen. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and 10 great-great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, we request "something different" and take a tequila shot in loving memory of our sister, mama, aunt, grandma, great grandma, and great great grandma, Lorena.
