It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maria Mahier of Los Angeles, California, who passed away on April 3, 2025, at the age of 102, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ramon Carreño Recasens and Teresa Brufau Verni; her husband Henry Huck Mahier; and her daughter-in-law Beth Krown Mahier. She is survived by: her children, Henry Daniel Mahier (Carol), Mimi Mahier Smith, William Ramon Mahier, Luke Eduardo Mahier and Thomas Jose Mahier (Cynthia); her grandchildren, Matthew Henry Mahier (Jessica), Stephen Edwin Mahier (Caroline), Sara Morgan Keener (Andrew), Taylor Noel Shield, Cora Allison Smith, Timothy James Mahier and Terrence Joseph Mahier; her great grandchildren, Zoe Delilah Keener, Remy Talullah Keener, Henry Michael Mahier and Sadie Evelyn Mahier; and her sibling Magda Sarobé. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
