He was predeceased by: his wife Juliana; and his son Michael. He is survived by: his children, Oliver Mulcahy (Allison) and Stephanie Mulcahy Morrison (Jim); his significant other Patricia Andrews; his grandchildren, Kieran, Patrick, Kallie, Aine and Claire; and his great grandchild Killian.

In recognition of his contributions to the community, Patrick was honored as the Honorary Irishman of the Year in 2003 by the City of Los Angeles.
