With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ruby Nishio of Los Angeles, California, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 9, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Ruby shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Ruby farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her husband Isamu Nishio; and her sisters, Alice Yamashita (Hige) and Helen Kitamura (Eddie). She is survived by: her children, JoAnne (Roy Digino), Linda (Ransom Rideout), Susan (Stephen Ball) and Dennis (Lisa Higashi); her grandchildren, Alison and Tyler; her great grandchildren, Violet and Olivia; and her brother Fred (Sadie). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
