It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Tsuyako Miyashiro of Los Angeles, California, born in Kapaau, Hawaii, who passed away on April 11, 2025, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Yukio Miyashiro (Choc); her sister Akiko Maekawa; and her parents, Denichi Nakamura and Shizuyo Sakamoto (Janis). She is survived by: her daughters, Jan Hashizume and Karen Sorensen; her sisters, Ayako Imai, Natsue Yoneda, Haru McKee and Shizumi Gronefeld (Hank); and her sister-in-law Sadako Pang. She is also survived by five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

No flowers or koden (monetary gifts).
