She was predeceased by: her husband Masaru Murakami; and her brothers, Noboru and Bill Sachio Sumi. She is survived by: her daughters, Carol Emi Murakami (Jerry Tondo) and Lynn Midori Yada (Dave); and her grandchildren, Jessica Tondo Quan (Derek), Jonathan Tondo, Katie Yada Dharmosetio (Andrew) and Michael Yada. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
