She was predeceased by: her parents, Luis Guttierez and Maria De Jesus Galindo; her siblings, Ramona Tapia, Katalina Salazar, Alicia De La Cruz, Elvira Villela, Bernadina Carillo, Angel Gutierrez and Luis Gutierrez; her children, Teresa Ortega, Hermelinda Medina and Pedro Medina; and her sons-in-law, Aureliano Sandoval and Ruben Ortega.
She is survived by: her husband Pedro Avalos; and her daughters-in-law, Ada (Miguel Valencia), Elisa Medina (Antonio), Elizabeth Medina, Dora Sandoval (Enrique), Monique Medina and Susie (Gabriel Carano). She is also survived by children, son in laws.
