He was predeceased by : his parents, Benigno Gonzalez and Juaquina Gonzalez (Zaragoza); his stepfather Salvador Zaragoza; and his brothers, Roman Gonzalez and Marco Antonio Zaragoza.

He is survived by : his wife Victoria Gonzalez; his children, Salvador Gomez, Gilbert Gonzalez, Catrina Gomez, AJ Gomez-Gonzalez, Francisco Gomez (Bo) and Anisa Gomez; and his siblings, John Gonzalez, Robert Zaragoza and Estella Diaz. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
