It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of William Thomas Mercer (Los Gatos, California), born in Buffalo, New York, who passed away on August 4, 2025, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. Everett T. Mercer and Mary Curtin Mercer; his stepmother Ella Mercer; and his wife Vilma. He is survived by: his children, Myra, Susan (Ed Orekar), Michelle Livoni, Bill Jr. (Heidi), Jerry (Kresha) and Colette; his grandchildren, Michael (Tara), Mackenzie, Thomas (Madeline), David (Jamie), Samuel, Melanie and John "Jack"; and his brother Everett "Red". He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, September 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St Mary's Catholic Church (219 Bean Ave, Los Gatos, CA 95030).
