It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Joan Lambert Hayes of Los Osos, California, who passed away on March 9, 2026, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, James Lambert and Barbara Lambert; her children, Penny Weber and James Hayes; and her grandson Joseph Weber.

She is survived by: her sister Carmen; her husband Bill Hayes; and her grandchildren, Christy Hayes, Angela Walker, Erin Teves and James Hayes.

The couple also made many contributions to Shriners Children's Hospital and were founding members of Saint Benedict's Episcopal Church in Los Osos, where they faithfully attended services until 2021, when they relocated to Woodlake Senior Living in Sacramento, California.
