Eileen Catherine Foster Obituary
We announce the death of Eileen Catherine Foster of Madera, California, who passed away on September 4, 2026, at the age of 98. Eileen will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Eileen will be remembered for the impact she had on the lives of those around her. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Eileen’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued her companionship.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Brunolli and Columba Brunolli; her husband Joe Foster Jr. of Joachim's Catholic Church; her children, Mark Foster and Barbara Beltran; and her sons-in-law, Mark Gurrola and John Gustafson.
She is survived by: her children, Debbie Gustafson of Clovis, Margie Gurrola of Madera and David "Smokey" Rickard (Becky) of Loma; and her daughter-in-law Jeanne Foster of Chowchilla. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Jay Chapel (1121 Roberts Ave, Madera, CA 93637). A rosary will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Joachim Catholic Church (401 W 5th St, Madera, CA 93637). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
