She was predeceased by: her brother Baby Joe; her parents, Jose Maciel and Isabel Maciel; her siblings, Mary Ellen Lopez, Edward Joe Maciel and Esther Rista; her brothers-in-law, Pete Rista and OJ Hefner; and her pet Brandy.

She is survived by: her children, Ronald, Kimberly and Krisanne Barboza; her sisters, Eloise Hefner and Ida Maciel; her siblings-in-law, Esther Maciel and Joe Lopez (Sal Alvarez); and her siblings' children, Mark Alvarez (Krissy), Susie Alvarez and James Alvarez. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
