He was predeceased by: his parents, Manuel Umada and Julia Bejarano; his stepfather Lupe Bejarano Sr.; his stepdaughter Jennifer Rose Flores; his siblings, David Umada, Ruben Umada, Albert Umada, Lupe Bejarano Jr., Edward Umada, Frances Umada and Gloria Mendoza; and his mother-in-law Maria Campos.
He is survived by: his wife Rose Umada of Chowchilla; his stepchildren, Corina Dominguez (Ricardo), Marisa Garcia (Mitch) and Annisa Lopez (Ivan); his siblings, Daniel Umada, Delia Martinez and Lupita Umada; and his siblings-in-law, Angela Briceno, Joseph Edward Moreno and Lorrance Moreno. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 48 great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
