He is survived by: his sister Darlene Marquez Hurtado (Freddy); and his children, Steve Marquez (Veronica), Sally Marquez and Jennifer Umunna (Nate). He is also survived by twelve grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Viewing was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Jay Chapel (1121 Roberts Ave, Madera, CA 93637). A rosary was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the St. Joachim Catholic Church (401 W 5th St, Madera, CA 93637). A burial was held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 at the Calvary Cemetery (28447 Ave 14, Madera, CA 93638).
