She is survived by : her husband Luis A Melendez; her children, Mario, James, Mary Lou, Margaret and Monica; her grandchildren, Anitra Melendez, Cerisa Leach, Mario Melendez, Erik Jones, Garrett Green, Danielle Green, Jesse Melendez, Marisa Bargas, Jessica Wallace and Sabrina Chandler; and her great grandchildren, Vanessa Munoz, Aryssa Munoz, Myla Bargas, Avery Leach, Maple Leach, Kalliope Bargas and Aayla Bargas.
