We are sad to announce that, on May 13, 2026, at the age of 74, John Wilbur Simpson of Madera, California passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though John Wilbur may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those John Wilbur touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John Lawrence and Eloise Margaret Simpson; and his siblings, Wesley Simpson, Laura Simpson and Fred Simpson.

He is survived by: his daughter Jennifer Bryson (Matt Bryson) of North Texas; his grandchildren, Jolie, Jaycee and Sutton Eloise; and his siblings, Marvin Simpson of Madera, CA, Olivia Ellis (Steve) of Nellysford, VA and Robert "Bob" Simpson of Fresno, CA..
