She was predeceased by: her parents, William Madewell and Letha Madewell; her husband Carl Godfrey; her sons, James (Jim) and Michael "Turkey" Godfrey; and her siblings, Raymond, Alvin Madewell, Wilma Longcrier and Pauline Webb.
She is survived by: her brother William Madewell (Gene); and her children, Pamela Witten, Patricia Blackmon, Paula Reid (Rocky) and Jeff Godfrey.
