It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maurice Anastacio Maldonado (Madera, California), born in Sanger, California, who passed away on April 21, 2023, at the age of 34, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Angelina, Anastacio Maldonado and Tom Sanchez. He is survived by: his parents, Ricardo Maldonado and Gloria Maldonado; his significant other Nicole Brown; his grandmother Mary Sanchez; his children, Jayden Anthony Davis Maldonado of Fresno, CA, Eli Charles Byrd of Prather and Layla Kay Maldonado of Exeter, CA.; his siblings, Phillip Maldonado (Sarah Maldonado) of Phoenix, AZ, Ricky Jimenez of Fresno, Benjamin Ricardo Maldonado, Stephani Portillo (Jimmy) of Phoenix, AZ and Emily Jimenez (David) of Fresno; his nieces, Alania and Madison; and his nephew Isaiah.

A go fund me will be set up, in lieu of flowers, for donations going towards The Fragile X Foundation and Autism Society of California.
