It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Pedro V Sauceda of Madera, California, who passed away on December 18, 2025, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jose Maria Sauceda and Apolinar Villanueva; his siblings, Francisco Sauceda, Jose Sauceda, Augustina Saucedo and Lupe Landeros; his son Peter Sauceda; his children-in-law, Joyce Sauceda and David Torres; and his grandson Daniel Trevino.
He is survived by: his wife Manuela Sauceda; his sister Martina; and his children, Janie (Hector Chapa), Tony (Diane Sauceda), Vera Sauceda-Torres, James (Jaqueline Holmes), Jerry Sauceda, Emma (David Fontes), Patricia Sauceda-Haro and Nelly (Rick Trevino). He is also survived by 27 great-grandchildren.
