He was loved and cherished by many people including : his wife Carol Bridgeford Turner; his children, Sara Marques (Frank Avila) of Rocklin, CA, Carrie Pitkin (Richard Pitkin) of Roseville, CA, Angela Pease of Fresno, CA. and Steven Pease of St. Augustine, FL; his brother Charles Turner of Lake Tahoe; his grandchildren, Savannah White, Stephanie Marques, Lailah Avila, Morgan Pitkin, Lillian Pitkin, Caralena Pitkin, Lauren Pease and Aidan Pease; his siblings-in-law, Janice Bridgeford, William and Diane Devitt; his parents, Margaret Rose Olsen and John William Turner, Sr.; his former life partner Valerie Rubke; and his family, Alfa Romeo and Ducati. He was also cherished by animals especially his favorite dog.
