He was predeceased by: his wife Leocadia Dias; his parents, Manuel Dias and Deolinda Dias; his sister Victoria Dias; and his daughter-in-law Linda Dias.
He is survived by: his children, Jorge Dias (late Linda Dias), Mary Ferreira (Lino), Joseph Dias (Caroline), Paul Dias and John Dias (Adriana); his grandchildren, Shaun (Evelia), Nicholas (Miryam), Jorge Jr., Elizabeth, Sarah (Jacob), John "Alex", Regina, Lucas (Avery) and Suzette (Chris); and his siblings, David Dias (Lourdes), Tony Dias (Helena), Maria Bettencourt (John) and Doris Bettencourt (late George).
