She was predeceased by: her brother Jorge Bettencourt; her parents, Antonio Silveira Bettencourt and Adelaide Nunes Bettencourt; and her daughter-in-law Linda Dias. She is survived by: her husband Jose; her children, Jorge Dias (late Linda Dias), Mary Ferreira (Lino), Joseph Dias (Caroline), Paul Dias and John Dias (Adriana); her grandchildren, Shaun (Evelia), Nicholas (Miryam), Jorge Jr., Elizabeth, Sarah (Jacob), John "Alex", Regina, Lucas (Avery) and Suzette (Chris); and her brother John Bettencourt.
