She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, George Purdy and Lillie Purdy; her former husband Troy Rhynes; her stepchildren, Bobbie, Sheri, David and Mary; her friend Betty; her daughters, Helene Cheek, Darlene Dytche (Ralph), Paulene Husen (Jeffrey), Marlene Peterson (Paul), Cathy Munson (John) and Donna Bowes (Art); and her siblings, Tommy Purdy (Paulette), Mike Purdy, Paul Purdy, Johnny Buck and Marlene Hill (Rusty). She was also cherished by grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
