He is survived by: his brothers, Norman Strand (Kay) of Indiana and David Strand of Martinez; his children, Karen Strand Fonseca (Don) of Sacramento and Michael Strand of Pittsburg, California.; and his stepchildren, Mark McLane of Martinez and Karen Jones of Martinez. He is also survived by his four children, Don leaves behind nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, as well as extended family members and friends.
