She is survived by: her husband Valentin Alvarez; her children, Jocelyn Waters, Tina Tan and Eric Alvarez; her grandchildren, Laura, Matthew, Timothy Waters, Amelia and Vivienne Tan; and her siblings, Pura Chua-Espiritu, Danilo Chua, Antonio Chua and Elena Chua-Benigno.
