He was predeceased by: his brothers, Donny Dean and Bruce Dean; and his parents, Lock Dean and Louise Dean. He is survived by: his wife Virginia Dean; his children, Curtis Dean, Jr., Sarah Dean, Jera Dean (Marcos Rodriguez) and Kala Dean-Knoblach (John Knoblach); and his stepdaughter Paula Valdez. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
