He is survived by: his children, Thi Juan "TJ" Cook, Lenon T Gie II and Adonte Gie; his grandchildren, Dania Murdock, Lenon T Gie III, Erynn Cook, Ashton Gie, Rhikki Cook, Teri Gie, Morgan Gie, Alexander Gie, Jevon Weems and Jodice Weems; and his siblings, Mattie Ballard, Essie Matthews, Warren, Sonny, Clarence Matthews, Gerry Banks, Bennie Matthews, Betty Robertson, James Lloyd Matthews and Curtis Matthews. He is also survived by other family members and friends.
