With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Joy Kordos of Menifee, California, born in Oak Park, Illinois, who passed away on July 13, 2025 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Mary Joy farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Mary Joy is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She is survived by: her husband James "Jim" Kordos; and her sons, Brian Golie and Mark Golie. She is also survived by many extended family members and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 5th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Miller-Jones Menifee Memorial Park and Mortuary (26770 Murrieta Rd, Menifee, CA 92585). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 5th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, August 5th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Riverside National Cemetery (22495 Van Buren Boulevard, Riverside, CA 92518). A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, August 5th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Fairfield Inn (30140 Town Center Dr, Menifee, CA 92584).
