Angel Guerrero Jr Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Angel Guerrero Jr (Merced, California), born in Templeton, California, who passed away suddenly on November 12, 2021, at the age of 36, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was raised by surviving parents Jose & Teresa Maravilla. Surviving brother Omero (Edemia) & surviving sisters Sandra (Aristeo), Estrella (Jose), Crystal & Esmeralda. Family meant everything to Angel. So, it was no surprise when he became inquisitive about his surviving biological father Angel Guerrero, Sr. and his side of the family. With all of us supporting his decision, he met and became acquainted with surviving brothers Eduardo, Benjamin, Carlos, Jennifer, Angelica, Lydia & family.

Angel joined the US Marine Corp in 2006. In the 5 years he served, he completed 2 tours to Iraq & 1 to Afghanistan. He proudly served his country & often spoke about his adventures in the service. Not leaving behind the memories created, with the close friends he made along the way. Semper Fi! 3/7 No shit 4/1 whatever it takes.

He loved the beach & long hikes, so it was only fitting to stay in Orange County after discharge. You'd hear him often bragging about how So Cal provided perfect weather all year around. It is at Cal Poly Pomona, that he continued his education. And in recent weeks he found himself back in the Central Valley where he could be closer to family.

Angel will be greatly missed. From his practical jokes/pranks to his unforgettable loud laugh that could be heard from afar. And let's not forget his loyalty to the Raiders & trusting their process. For those of us who had him in our lives, we know how truly lucky we were. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Angel Guerrero Jr to pay them a last tribute. Viewing will be held on Friday, December 3rd 2021 from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Turlock Memorial Park and Funeral Home (425 North Soderquist Road, Turlock, California 95380). A funeral mass will be held on Friday, December 3rd 2021 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church (1200 Lyons Avenue, Turlock, California 95380). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, December 4th 2021 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Turlock Memorial Park (575 North Soderquist Road, Turlock, California 95380).
