He is survived by: his wife Blanca; his brothers, Art "Slim" and Edward "Smack" Gonzales; his children, David Gonzales, April Tinsley, Marian Ismael and Athina Phillips; his stepson Justin Hamilton; his sons-in-law, David "Fatso" Ismael and Wayne Phillips; his nephews, Eddie Gonzales and Manuel Byrd; his grandson Jonathan Garcia Jr.; his son-in-law Scott Tinsley; and his grandson Aiden Phillips. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
